My name is Emma, and I am the therapist and owner of Hopwood's Holistic Massage Therapies. I have over a decade of experience working within this field. I am a qualified Holistic Massage Therapist, Reflexologist and Reiki Master, with additional qualifications in Deep Tissue Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stones and Facial Massage.

 

I love to constantly keep developing my practice and knowledge, so that I can deliver highly skilled and effective treatments for you. I have recently completed a qualification in Sports Massage and Structural Rebalancing, with has further enhanced and grown my therapeutic massage skills set and knowledge, which I can incorporate into my treatments when needed.

I  have always been drawn to working and caring for people, and have worked within healthcare for twenty years, primarily as a Mental Health Nurse. This has created a drive and passion in me to support people to maintain and prioritise their health and wellbeing, such as through delivery of a variety of bodywork and holistic treatments, as these can have such a positive impact upon our bodies and minds.

Massage treatments can offer a wide range of physical and emotional benefits, making them a valuable addition to overall wellbeing. They can reduce stress, relieve pain, improve circulation and promote relaxation. Additionally massage can help with sleep, improve mood and even boost the immune system.

 I build time in to the appointment for an initial consultation at the start of each appointment,  so that I can tailor my treatments to your individual needs and requests.
