Below are some frequently asked questions, which may be helpful if you have any queries. To get in contact with any other questions, comments or enquires that you have about any treatments or bookings please either complete the form below or send an email. I will respond to you as promptly as possible.

All appointments can be booked via online booking. If you have been gifted with a physical gift card, then do get in contact by emailing enquiries@hh-therapies.co.uk, or WhatsAp07488318068 to organise your treatment rather than through the online booking system. I look forward to hearing from you!

 What is a holistic massage?

A holistic massage is more than just a treatment—it’s a chance to fully unwind and reconnect. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to you, helping to ease tension, calm the mind, and restore a sense of balance and wellbeing.

 

What can I expect when I arrive?

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a calm, peaceful space designed to help you switch off from the outside world. We’ll begin with a gentle consultation to understand how you’re feeling and what you need from your treatment.

 

Do I need to undress fully?

Only to your level of comfort. You’ll be given complete privacy and will always be beautifully draped with soft towels, ensuring you feel warm, secure, and cared for throughout.

 

How long are the treatments?

Treatments are typically 60 or 90 minutes, giving you plenty of time to relax deeply. Longer sessions allow for a slower, more immersive experience.

 

What should I wear?

Arrive in whatever makes you feel comfortable. After your treatment, you may feel wonderfully relaxed, so soft, loose clothing is ideal.

 

Will the massage be firm or gentle?

Every treatment is tailored to you. Whether you prefer a light, soothing touch or a deeper, more focused pressure, your therapist will adapt to what feels best for your body.

 

Do I need to let you know about health conditions?

Yes, please. Your wellbeing is our priority, so do share any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns when booking  or during our consultation so that we can ensure your treatment is both safe and beneficial.

 

Can I talk during the treatment?

Of course—this is your time. You’re welcome to chat or simply drift into quiet relaxation. Many clients find the stillness deeply restorative.

 

What if I feel uncomfortable?

Your comfort is everything. At any point, you can ask to adjust the pressure, temperature, music or positioning—or pause the treatment entirely.

 

How will I feel afterwards?

Most clients leave feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply relaxed. It’s not uncommon to feel a little dreamy or sleepy—this is your body gently absorbing the benefits.

 

Is there anything I should do after my massage?

Take your time easing back into your day. Drink plenty of water, rest if you can, and enjoy the sense of calm for as long as possible.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to offer the space to another client.

Is parking available?

Yes, free off street parking is available.

 

 Can I book a same day appointment?

Yes, if you find availability on the calendar, then that time slot is available. Please do try to allow at least an hours notice, or if you are booking a hot stones massage, a minimum 4 hours notice is needed (to allow preparation time & for heating the stones to a therapeutic temperature). 

 

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes—our gift vouchers make a beautiful and thoughtful way to treat someone special to a moment of calm and care. We have both eGift Cards - which can be purchased and emailed immediately to your loved one (no additional costs), as well as beautiful physical gift cards, which can be posted directly to yourself or the recipient within 3-5 working days (these do have an additional packaging & postage charge of £5).
